The Way of Salvation

All of us came into this world with a terrible problem, we are born physically alive but spiritually dead.

for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God
Romans 3:23

This means that we cannot have any relationship with God, it is not in our power to heal the rift that our sin has caused. However, it is in God’s power to provide a solution to our problem which He, in His grace, has provided.

16“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.
John 3:16

Jesus Christ paid the penalty of sin. He became our substitute.

21He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
2 Corinthians 5:21

All you have to do is accept the gift that the Son provided for us all on the cross when He paid the penalty for our sins.

23For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 6:23

It is as simple as believing in the Lord Jesus Christ.

28“Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest.
29
“Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and YOU WILL FIND REST FOR YOUR SOULS.
30
“For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”
Matthew 11:20-28
